The bold and powerful 2021 Cadillac Escalade is bringing multiple industry-first features to the table when it debuts on the automotive market. The industry-first curved OLED display covers more than 38 inches of total diagonal display area along the vehicle’s dashboard and is packed with twice the pixel density of what is found in a 4K television. The OLED display produces the largest color range of any automotive display currently available.
The OLED display is paper-thin and consists of three side-by-side screens. The display is made up of a 7.2-inch touchscreen panel driver information center, a 14.2-inch cluster behind the steering wheel, and a massive 16.9-inch infotainment center.
The Escalade is bringing segment-first Super Cruise driver assistance technology, which enables hand-free driving. This feature can be enabled on more than 200,000 miles of compatible U.S. and Canadian highways. This enhanced Super Cruise system offers several new features, including automated lane change, driver information center alert messaging, and dynamic lane offset.
The 2021 Cadillac Escalade features a new architecture which has expanded the vehicle’s interior space to now offer 25.5 cubic feet of cargo space behind the third row. This expansion of standard cargo space is a 68 percent increase over last year’s model. The third-row legroom has also expanded by over 10 inches, keeping passengers comfortable no matter which row they occupy.
